Description

The 33SS is a 33 inch bale spear that’s diameter is 1.675″ It includes the 155 sleeve, nut, and bolt. Our 33 inch bale spear has a “fluted” design down the sides of the spear. It makes removal and penetration of a bale of hay easier than other designs. They are bi-directional. They should be mounted with the fluted portion of the spear on the sides or “parallel” to the ground. The sleeve is designed to be welded into a hay moving implement. Never weld the sleeve into an implement with the spear in the sleeve. Once the sleeve is welded into your frame, simply slide the bale spear into the sleeve and insert bolt and tighten the included nut.

Our fluted hayspears® have a 3,000 lb capacity tested @ a 30″ load center which is the middle of your average 5′ x 6′ round bale. Competition all tests @ a 24″ load center which makes their capacity higher but not realistic for the farmers who are going to use it.
